I apologize for posting these photos out of sequence, but I was only recently able to verify that they were taken at Sarcee Camp.
[The photographs below are
labeled North Guard at Sacer Camp. The camp name is actually Sarcee Camp, which
was outside of Calgary, Canada. In 1915 it became the largest training camp in western Canada to
prepare troops before sending them to the front lines of WWI. This camp was in
essence a mini city. To this day they are still uncovering unexploded military
shells that were buried in the ground. The link to Sarcee Camp is for the 202nd
Battalion, but the page contains many photographs of the camp itself that I
thought it would be of interest.]
